En las últimas décadas se ha producido una gran expansión de las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (TIC) que ha transformando la sociedad. Entre las posibilidades que ofrecen para el aprendizaje se puede contar con herramientas para desarrollar e-portafolios con el alumnado. Estos entornos online se desarrollan de modo personal por los/as estudiantes, contando con espacio para el almacenamiento. A través de una metodología cualitativa, encuadrada en la perspectiva biográfico-narrativa, el principal objetivo de este trabajo es descubrir la percepción que tiene el alumnado sobre el e- portafolio para la mejora del aprendizaje. A partir del estudio de 68 diarios académicos del alumnado de 1er curso de la titulación de Educación Social. Los resultados y conclusiones ponen de manifiesto que los principales beneficios que identifica el alumnado sobre el uso del eportafolio se relacionan con sus posibilidades para la organización, almacenamiento y retroalimentación estudiante-profesor/a. Cabe destacar las bondades de uso para el intercambio, la comunicación, etc. Por otra parte, se revela el interés de e-portafolio para, el ahorro de material y el seguimiento que permite al profesorado en la evaluación continua, In recent decades, there has been a great expansion of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) that has transformed society. Las dinámicas de trabajo actuales exigen, cada vez en mayor medida, el uso de las Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación (TIC) en la Sociedad del Conocimiento. Para ello, las TIC, y especialmente las prácticas formativas con páginas web pueden desempeñar un papel substancial en la innovación y la mejora de la Educación Social. Por ello, la finalidad principal de esta investigación es descubrir la percepción que tiene el alumnado universitario sobre el uso de las páginas web para el campo de trabajo de la Educación Social. El estudio realizado se enmarca en la investigación cualitativa. Para ello, se han analizado 68 diarios académicos del alumnado de primer curso de la titulación de Educación Social. Como resultados y conclusiones cabe indicar que estos/as alumnos/as perciben beneficioso las páginas web como herramienta de expresión, así como un mecanismo idóneo para la visibilización de la Educación Social. Valoran positivamente el carácter lúdico, motivador y las posibilidades que existen para la utilización de entornos gratuitos. En definitiva, reconocen el potencial esencial de las páginas web para la educación informal, como una herramienta interesante para la innovación e interacción social en el ámbito de trabajo de la Educación Social, The current work dynamics demand, increasingly to a greater extent, the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the Knowledge Society. For this, ICT, and especially training practices with web pages can play a substantial role in innovation and improvement of Social Education. Therefore, the main purpose of this research is to discover the perception that university students have about the use of web pages for the field of work of Social Education. The study is framed in qualitative research. For this, 68 academic journals of the first-year students of the Social Education degree have been analyzed. As results and conclusions, it should be noted that these students perceive web pages as a tool of expression, as well as an ideal mechanism for the visibility of Social Education. They value positively the ludic, motivating character and the possibilities that exist for the use of free environments. RESUMO: A tecnologia digital como componente quotidiana deveria ser mais valorizada enquanto recurso de aula. O objetivo deste estudo é descobrir se os manuais escolares de Educação Musical, no 3° ciclo do ensino básico português, pro porcionam materiais e/ou alternativas para o uso das TIC. Através de uma meto dologia qualitativa realizou-se uma aná lise de documentos para examinar os manuais escolares. As conclusões indi cam que o manual escolar não promove o uso das TIC através das atividades e dos materiais complementares que inclui; e apresentam atividades que não implicam uma utilização efetiva das TIC. ABSTRACT: Digital technology as an everyday component should be more valued as classroom resource. The aim of this study is to find out if the textbooks of music education, for the 3rd cycle of Portuguese basic education, provide materials and/or alternativesfor the use of ICTs. Through a qualitative methodology, we used the technique of document analysis to examine the textbooks. The findings indicate that the textbooks do not promote the use of ICTs through complementary activities and materials, and have activities that do not implicate an effective usage of ICTs. RESUMEN: La tecnología digital como componente cotidiano debería estar más valorado como recurso de aula. El objetivo de este estudio es descubrir si los libros de texto de educación musical en el tercer ciclo de la educación básica portuguesa propor cionan materiales o alternativas para el uso de las TIC. En este estudio cualita tivo se realizó un análisis de documen tos para examinar los libros de texto. Las conclusiones indican que el libro de texto no promueve el uso de las TIC a través de las actividades y materiales complementarios incluidos, y que pre sentan actividades que no implican una utilización efectiva de las TIC.

It is important for teens during adolescence to plan conscientiously their vital route to gradually strengthen academic and career aspirations, and this must be known by teachers and progenitors. The aim of this paper is to discover the academic and working preferences of students in their final year of compulsory education in Spain. The investigation was developed through qualitative analysis of multiple case studies. As results and conclusions, it should be noted that differences by gender were detected regarding the inclination shown by students towards experimental sciences and language subjects. Teens opt for professions mainly related to services sector., Es importante que en la adolescencia puedan trazar de forma consciente su recorrido vital para afianzar paulatinamente sus aspiraciones académicas y laborales, de las que debe ser conocedor el profesorado y progenitores. En este trabajo, se trata de descubrir las preferencias académicas y profesionales del alumnado del último curso de la educación obligatoria en España. La investigación se ha abordado a través de la vertiente cualitativa, a partir de un estudio de casos múltiples. Como resultados y conclusiones cabe resaltar que se detectan diferencias por género en cuanto a la inclinación revelada por el alumnado hacia asignaturas de ciencias experimentales o de “lenguas”. Los y las adolescentes se decantan principalmente por las profesiones relacionadas con el sector servicios.

The problem underlying the study considers that the integration of resources from diverse typologies, as well as the evidence of its quantity, reveals a way of acting from which teaching strategies that involve the training process were derived. For this reason, this study is mainly intended to find out what are, in general, the resources used in Secondary Education and, particularly, in Mathematics, as well as meet those relating to the use of ICT. This is a case study, which used a questionnaire to collect data, and involved 97 students from northern Portugal. As a conclusion, we note that the educational resources that are more used in different disciplines still are the textbooks and worksheets, although they didn’t motivate the students. The same reality is visible in the Mathematics classes, where only occasionally other resources such as graphic calculators, computers and Internet are used.KeywordsEducational resources; ICT; Secondary Education; Mathematics, La problemática subyacente al estudio considera que la integración de recursos educativos de tipología diversa, así como la evidencia de su cantidad, revela una forma de actuar de la cual derivan las estrategias didácticas que se utilizan en el proceso formativo. Por este motivo, en este estudio, se pretende principalmente descubrir cuáles son los recursos utilizados en la Enseñanza Secundaria y, en particular, en la disciplina de Matemáticas, así como conocer los relativos a las TIC. The 9th annual meeting of the Center for Qualitative Psychology was held in Northern Finland, near to the city of Oulu. The seminar was started with two crucial questions leading the participants to the theme of the conference. The orientation followed the line of the former meetings of the Center for Qualitative Research in Psychology helping participants to reflect own ways of doing psychological research. In the beginning of the conference we asked the conference participants a simple question: What do you want to know about epistemology? In small groups the participants expressed questions like - what is epistemology, are there many epistemologies, what do we mean by epistemology and what epistemological approaches do we have in psychology. During the two conference days these questions we reformulated and new themes were elaborated by the participants. At the end of the seminar the participants were finally asked "in what questions did you find answers?" This volume presents articles on four extensive themes about qualitative research and the psychological and educational research. It seeks to highlight and illustrate the variety of epistemologies and the personal stance every researcher has to take to these questions. The first topic is concentrated on the epistemological questions. The second topic includes two viewpoints to practical and strongly context-based debate of brutal computer games and specific early communication. The third topic includes articles on educational questions and issues like interculturality, diversity, and vocational training. The fourth topic treats how theoretical and methodological solutions may define the chosen epistemological stance.

Tentando corresponder aos desafios da escola do século XXI, com este trabalho pretende-se conhecer as condições de acessibilidade dos alunos às TIC, o papel motivador destes e outros recursos, dando especial atenção à disciplina de Matemática. O trabalho apresentado resulta de um estudo de caso, desenvolvido através de um inquérito, distribuído a 97 alunos, de quatro turmas, de uma Escola Secundária (no 10º e 11º ano) do norte de Portugal. Como principais resultados e conclusões destaca-se que: o acesso aos computadores e à Internet está bastante generalizado; os alunos não se encontram de uma forma geral desmotivados para os assuntos escolares; atribuem, inclusive, importância à Matemática na sua formação e consideram a utilização da Internet elemento motivador no processo de ensino-aprendizagem. A utilização dos computadores não constitui condição para que se goste da disciplina e nela haja sucesso. Contudo, gostariam de poder estudar mais pela Internet do que pelos livros e pensam que se aplicariam mais se os trabalhos fossem elaborados com o computador. Trying to correspond to the challenges of the school of the 21st century, with this work it is intended to know the conditions of accessibility of the pupils to the ICT, the motivador role of these and other resources, giving special attention to Mathematics. The presented work results of case study developed through an inquiry, handed to 97 pupils of four groups of a secondary school (in 10th and 11th grades) of the north of Portugal. The main results and conclusions are: the access to the computers and to the Internet is sufficiently generalized; pupils are motivated to study and even consider the importance of Mathematics in their formation; they consider the use of the Internet a motivator element in the teach-learning process. The use of the computers does not necessarily contribute to their success. However, they would like to be able to study more through the Internet then for books and they think they would work harder if their projects could be done with the help of computers.
